UPDATE: Crash on M40 near Banbury cleared
An incident on the M40 south of Banbury caused traffic to build up earlier on Wednesday
A crash caused 'severe delays' on the M40 southbound between J11 A422 (Banbury) and J10 A43 (Brackley / Cherwell Valley Services) earlier on Wednesday.
At the height of the incident drivers were warned of delays of up to an hour on the stretch as average speed on the southbound side were just 5mph.
The incident now appears to have been cleared and traffic has returned to normal
