Crews from two fire services respond to kitchen fire in Brackley

Two crews of firefighters responded to a kitchen fire at a residence in Brackley yesterday, Thursday August 13.

The fire happened just before 3pm at a property in Balmoral Drive in Brackley.

The fire involved a cooker hob and waste materials inside a kitchen.

No one was injured in the fire.

Crews from the Brackley Fire Station assisted by firefighters from the Buckinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service used two breathing apparatus, a hose reel and a thermal image camera as they contained the fire.

The cause to the fire is believed to be accidental.
